Each gymnast progresses at his/her own rate, accomplishing skills and moving onto the next level in the program. It is common to spend more than one session in the same level as it takes time, dedication, and strength to master skills.

While gymnasts should ideally master the necessary skills at each level before advancing, we also consider factors such as age, listening abilities, and the individual gymnast's skills when determining the appropriate level for each gymnast.

 

KinderKids and Beginner I gymnasts are learning many of the same skills, but we’ve observed that gymnasts ages five to six tend to thrive when grouped with peers of the same age, making for a smooth transition between our Preschool and School Age classes.

 

For children who are ten years old and new to gymnastics, we offer registration for either Beginner I or Beginner II, as we find that it’s more comfortable for them to be in classes with other gymnasts of similar ages.​
